Operation Dry Needles

Local Boy Scouts Recycling Your Used Christmas Trees

Operation Dry Needles has been operating in the Puget Sound for over 20 years.  Each year, Boy Scouts deliver flyers to neighborhood homes prior to Christmas and then pick up (or collect at collection centers) used Christmas trees the first week of the new year for recycling. Your donation for this service helps provide for summer camp, high adventure, camping gear and leadership training.  Won't you kindly consider a donation this year again?

Refer to the interactive map below to identify which scout troop has been assigned to your neighborhood (you may zoom in and pan through use of the buttons in the upper left corner of the map).  When you find you find your neighborhood, click on the colored zone to find out which troop services your area.  A balloon containing unique instructions from your troop will appear.
